The course covers the principles of operation\, maintenance and diagnosis of heavy duty compressed natural gas engines using the Cummins ISL-G and ISX 12G engines as the basis for the instruction. Howell Ave.\, Oak Creek\, WI \nMilwaukee Area Technical College is offering a CNG tank and fuel system inspector class. Current regulations require that all CNG tanks be visually inspected by a certified inspector every three years or 36\,000 miles\, whichever comes first or in the event of an accident or fire on the vehicle. The class will cover the inspection requirements and techniques as defined by industry standards and regulations. The class will serve as a preparatory class for students who would like to take the CSA certification exam to become a Certified CNG Fuel System Inspector. \nSeating is limited to 16 participants.
