Wisconsin Clean Cities leads the Plug-In Electric (PEV) Vehicle Task Force for PEV planning in the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin Clean Cities conducted an initial feasibility study for PEVs in Wisconsin that led to the creation of the Task Force. The Task Force is a diverse group of 33 volunteer stakeholders representing municipalities, the State Energy Office, private companies, universities, original equipment manufacturers, dealerships and enthusiasts.
Task Force members are excited about PEVs and strive to grow the PEV market, educate all audiences about PEVs and provide comprehensive resources about PEVs to Wisconsin residents.
To meet these goals, Task Force members work diligently to break down barriers, participate in and promote related events or activities, produce educational and marketing materials and work closely with municipalities and private companies to promote PEV-related policies and practices. Most importantly, the Task Force actively seeks funding to implement their solutions.
