Join the Mid-west Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC) for the Smart Transportation Roundtable, a showcase and discussion of Wisconsin’s leadership in developing and implementing smart transportation technologies! Hear from keynote speaker Lisa Brown, National Senior Director, Strategy, Local Government & Municipal Infrastructure for Johnson Controls! Enjoy panel discussions on smart transportation, including:
- Panel 1: Highway corridors that use smart technologies to improve efficiency for freight and individuals, as well as safety for all. A successful project in Atlanta will serve as a reference for similar efforts in Wisconsin.
- Panel 2: Local government leaders in Wisconsin — including Milwaukee and Racine — will discuss recent smart transportation technology initiatives implemented in their communities. The panel will be moderated by Lorrie Lisek, Executive Director of Wisconsin Clean Cities, who will provide insight into how smart transportation and the state’s leadership in electric vehicles go hand-in-hand.
