To understand your organization’s fuel costs and emissions, you must first establish a benchmark. Wisconsin Clean Cities (WCC) works with the US Department of Energy (US DOE) to turn this process into a fun state-wide competition! All Wisconsin Clean Cities members, partners, and stakeholders with alternative-fueled vehicles, advanced technology vehicles, dispensing alternative fuel(s), using idle-reduction methods or policies, or reducing vehicle miles traveled (carpooling, public transit, telecommuting, etc.) are encouraged to fill out a report at the beginning of every calendar year to capture the prior year’s efforts!
2026 Annual Report
Each tab in the Annual Report Spreadsheet represents a different way an organization can save emissions (using alternative fuel vehicles or hosting supporting infrastructure, using technology to reduce emissions, remote work policies, etc.) Simply fill out what your organization does, and ignore what doesn’t apply. When complete, send it back to us at info@wicleancities.org
WCC uses these reports to promote the efforts of participating organizations. We also use the reports to determine the top five cleanest fleets in Wisconsin; the winners are recognized at our Transportation & Innovation Expo, where media outlets are present. We compile these submissions into a single coalition report that reflects all the outstanding work taking place across Wisconsin and turn it into the US DOE to help them understand what states need more funding to aid in the transition to cleaner fuels and technology. This reporting is imperative to securing WCC’s foundational grant of operation.
❤️ Thank you to those who filled out the 2025 fuel report ❤️
