U.S. DOE announces $128 million for sustainable transportation research
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on Dec. 10 announced an investment of up to $128 million in funding for research & development of sustainable transportation resources & technologies, split between three separate funding opportunity announcements. The Vehicle Technologies Office funding opportunity (up to $60 million), supports priorities in batteries & electrification, advanced engine & fuel technologies, materials, mobility systems & transportation & energy analysis.
