Who: A collaboration of sustainability enthusiasts, professionals and stake holders through out Dane county and the surrounding area.

What: “2024 Sustain Dane Summit” A conference to learn, connect, share, reflect, and build new personal and professional skills. 

Where:  At the Monona Terrace 1 John Nolen Dr, Madison, WI 53703

When: Pre-Summit Happy Hour hosted by the historic Mansion Hill Inn on Thursday, November 7 from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.

Agenda for Friday November 8, 2024 8 AM-3 PM Monona Terrance Conference:

    • 8:00—9:00 Breakfast & Networking  
    • 9:00—10:30 Welcome, Keynote, & Workshop 
      • Esha Chhabra will lead the keynote and workshop: Harnessing the Power of Regenerative Business to Heal the World
    • 10:30—11:00 Break
    • 11:00—12:15 Local Sustainability Wins: Projects Making a Difference
      • Local leaders will share stories of their successful sustainability projects and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss & reflect.
    • 12:15—1:30 Lunch, Raffle, & Networking
      • Enjoy a seated lunch and networking. Participate in our raffle with items from local organizations.
    • 1:30—2:30 Renewing Purpose: How Nature Sustains Us
      • This segment will feature the UW Arboretum and Ice Age Trail. The guest speakers and audience will learn about these local natural spaces and be lead through a workshop on how connection to nature can foster our purpose and energy for sustainability work.
    • 2:30—3:00 Live Forward Awards
      • The Live Forward Awards acknowledges changemakers and inclusive leaders in our community.
