FreeWho: Green Tier Connections is a unique partnership between the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin communities, non-profit organizations, and state agencies that work together to assist communities in developing and implementing sustainability measures. All of its recommended policies and programs are administered at the local level and require little in the way of new state statutes or funding. This Green Tier Communities to collaborate and share strategies with each other to adopt better practices and get the public involved in implementation.
What:
- Networking opportunity with your fellow Green Tier participants – both businesses and Legacy Communities.
- Learn from subject matter experts on clean transportation technologies, the co-benefits of implementing these technologies into your transportation systems, and success stories from Green Tier participants.
- Some participants will receive recognition for milestone Green Tier anniversaries
- Come see our new Executive Director, Fred Schnook! He will be speaking on Sustainable Transportation at 9:15am CST
