Who: The Wisconsin Association of Energy Engineers (WAEE) invites you to join us at the City of Madison Fleet Building to learn about their EV Fleet!
What: Tour the 110,000 square foot headquarters for City of Madison Fleet. It is the first municipal auto garage in America to achieve LEED GOLD certification from US Green Business Council for its environmental features, including 248 rooftop solar panels (with over 500 more being installed right now by the Madison Green Power program), solar EV charging, a solar heating wall, fleet EV charging, public EV charging, and employee EV charging. The City of Madison has installed over 1,000 soybean oil tires and runs one of the largest fleet biodiesel programs in America.

The tires Below are made of Soybean Oil! The use of soybean oil in tires provides increased performance by improving flexibility in lower temperatures and enhancing traction in rain and snow. Using soybean oil also helps support American farmers.
